    This is a buffet style home cooked restaurant.  This is my all time favorite restaurant. The wait staff is AWESOME! VERY COURTEOUS AND KIND! They know how to put on the feed bag here!

    Kenny''s is buffet restaurant with some of the best country cooking anywhere. They also have hand dipped ice cream which my husband loves. The price is fare for a buffet.

    I know this place went into a viral crisis when the owner placed a sign that said "Minorities Need Not Apply" back about 2 months ago, but the sign wasn't what one thinks it meant, and the place deserves more respect than what it has.

    I decided to try Kenny's Home Cooking out on 3/24/2017. Normally I get skeptical of most buffet places because the food is often old and the decor is dirty, but here I was pleasantly surprised:

    The wait service was excellent, as was the price for a buffet and drink. $28.80 for three people wasn't too shabby either.

    I tried some of their mac and cheese, fried chicken, chicken tenders, hush puppies, and even their fried fish nuggets. For buffet food, it is surprisingly above average. I enjoyed their fried fish nuggets and hush puppies. They're bite-size and quite tasty! I did not try their fries as they looked frozen, but what do you expect from a buffet?

    While homestyle buffets aren't my go-to eateries, I was not disappointed by Kenny's at all. It filled my stomach up! I'll have to try their dessert when I come back. :)

    All you can eat

    I used to love buffets when I was younger. Now they just seem to get worse and worse the longer they're around. This restaurant is definitely an example of that.

    Just like the other two buffets in town they seem to attract people with very good bathing habits. They rarely clean any surfaces in this restaurant (tables, floor, the food bar itself) I had recommended this place to my coworkers in the past and they will eat anywhere but this was not up to their standards.

    Hopefully the new owners have adjusted the issues I've mentioned in this review which apparently all you have to do is cry to yelp if you don't like the review and they will take the review down.
